The judging was extremely tough this year and of the 534 entries only 93 were found worthy of including in this year's annual. Each judge was asked to rank the entries on a grading scale of 0–4, with 4 being an equvilant to an A. There were very few as this year, most work fell into the solid B category. But when the judges did agree, they all agreed and as a result we have decided to award medals in this y ear's show to distinguish the top work. 3x3 has awarded a Best of Show award for the top entry, Gold, Silver and Bronze as well as Distinctive Merit and Merit awards.
